Are you looking for a fast-growing, innovative, and data-driven company? You’ve come to the right place! We are seeking a Sales Training Manager to join our Inside Sales team. The Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sales team and the supporting operations required to drive DWC’s sales strategy and revenue growth. This individual is responsible for building, coaching, and leading a higher performing, customer focused sales team. 

What you will be doing:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train Account Managers.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Perform constructive and timely quarterly conversations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 
  • Support strategic development of sales strategies and goals.
  • Support development of sales plans; execute competitive customer-centric sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Support development of short and long-term goals for achieving sales revenue targets. 
  • Manage key performance indicators, adjusting sales strategy to appropriately meet targets, goals, and objectives.
  • Utilize metrics and forecasting models to adjust sales strategies, as needed.
  • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing customer-centric sales team.
  • Onboard new Account Managers providing structured training, ensuring they understand company processes, sales tools and expectations.
  • Develop training programs tailored to the organizations’ goals and strategies.
  • Conduct training sessions to teach sales methods, communication techniques and negotiation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the Sales team; assist with resolution of concerns and issues with customer accounts.
  • Set short-term goals that align with long-term goals for Account Managers.
  • Support management of rebate programs.
  • Support the management of the sales compensation plan. 
  • Develop sales training programs ensuring sales agents are educated on new products, services, and strategies.
  • Support analysis of hiring needs; recruit and hire Account Managers in accordance with the hiring plan to meet business strategy and goals.
  • Support development of and manage sales budgets. 
  • Continuously monitor emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with execution of sales plans. 
  • In collaboration with the marketing department, execute market and target customer sales campaigns. 
  • Attend, collaborate and lead leadership meetings.
  • Participate in professional development and attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to build relationships and promote our products and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of industry-related experience including three years in management required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, while managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Must be a proactive, self-starter who understands the details and can integrate them into a much larger strategic context.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Travel: Periodic travel for in person meetings and events.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds,  occasional bending and reaching
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 + bonus
